Men’s Soccer

The Royals men have won over 100 cups, leagues and tournaments including the premier division for men 20 times, the Ottawa Cup 13 times, "The Double" on seven occasions and a national final.
The Royals have competed in the highest division in Ottawa men's soccer since 1970, winning the division for the first time in 1973 and have dominated by winning it 20 times to date, including 9 years in a row, a remarkable stretch that ran from 1988 to 1996.

The Men's Premier team continued to dominate the 1990's winning the OCSL league championship in the late 90's. In 2000 the team once again made the final 4 of the Ontario Cup, but was denied again. In 2001 they regained the OCSL championship and won again in 2002. In 2003 the men reached another Ontario Cup semi final.

2004 was a memorable year. The Men's Premier team started the season with loss in the first round of the CPSL (Canadian Professional Soccer League) Cup to Vaughan in a sloppy loss in extra time. From that point the team did not lose a game until the gold medal game at the National Championships, where they lost 4-3 on penalty kicks. Along the way the Men's Premier team won the OCSL league, the Ottawa Cup and the Ontario Cup.

Women’s Soccer

The numerous accomplishments of the Royals women include seven consecutive Premier Division championships from 2004-2010, holding the Ottawa Cup for the past five years, and reaching the Ontario Cup semi-finals in five of the past seven years.
The Royals Women's premier team have a legacy of success and have provided the city with a decade of excellence.

Perenially active in Ontario Cup playdowns, in 2006 they became the only Eastern Ontario team since the millenium to win the coveted trophy, as well as making the Royals the only club in Eastern Ontario to win both the men's and women's provincial titles.

Prior to their resurrection under the Royals, coaches Fred Juett and Andy Nera became the only coaches to hold the provincial women's title for three consecutive years from 1997-1999 with the same core of players.

Alongside current players Danielle Vella and Noel Trepanier, Juett and Nera each have four provincial championships and their accomplishments were well documented in the Ottawa Citizen.

The club has benefited greatly from the longstanding success and talent on the women's team, with many of the players and the coaching staff involved in youth programs and teams.
