The Rebels had a great day at the Year End Futsal Tournament. They finished the Round Robin with 2 wins and a 1-0 loss and placed second in their group. This put them into the Semi-Finals against the favourite Russell Raiders. The girls started slowly in the Semi and got down to Russell but played hard the rest of the way to finish with a 4-1 loss.

In the Bronze medal game, they avenged their round robin loss with a 2-1 win against the SWAT team. This game was one of the best contested games of the day with both teams playing very hard. In the finals the Bulldogs upset the Raiders to win the Gold.

To a very good season - Well done Rebels! 

The team also played in the Coliseum Indoor Soccer League and, while they started the season well, they faltered near the end but managed to place 8th. Unfortunately, they drew the Nepean Hotspurs Red Devils 93s in the first round and, playing with 7 players on the Easter Long Weekend including 3 callups, they played tough but were no match for the Devils.

The Ottawa Royals Rebels U15 Girls Regional team are looking forward to an exciting summer.
