OTTAWA ROYALS COMPETITIVE SOCCER PROGRAM

The Ottawa Royals Soccer Club (ORSC) is a volunteer based organization that offers competitive soccer programs at both the youth and the adult levels.

YOUTH DEVELOPMENT

For players aged 8 to 19 that are looking for a more competitive situation and have the commitment and talent, then the ORSC Youth Competitive Program is the right choice!

The purpose the the ORSC Youth Competitive Program is to deliver the coaching and organization to enable the youth soccer player to develop their soccer, teamwork, and sportsmanship skills to the most competitive level.

Emphasis is placed on player and team development, and players are selected who demonstrate the greatest commitment, ability, and enjoyment of the game. The player's commitment is of primary importance to his/her continuing development, and there are many important obligations placed on the coaches, players and parents.

ADULT SOCCER

The Ottawa Royals Soccer Club offers a comprehensive senior program, including both recreational and competitive levels, for men, women and old-timers.

In 2004 the Royals entered a total of 14 teams in the OCSL ranging from the Premier Division to MR6, to WR4 to OT4. Our flagship teams are the Men's and Women's Premier Teams. Both teams won their respective leagues last year. The Men's Premier team won the Ontario Cup and finished with the Silver Medal at the National Championships in game decided by penalty kicks.

The old-timers division is for players who were born in 1970 or earlier. The old-timers division has been a longstanding tradition with the Royals. The club welcomes all new players, especially those who have recently joined the rank of old-timers.
